Trauma-Informed Care

Healing & Wholeness in Faith Communities

The Mission

Healing souls, equipping churches and transforming communities through spirit-led, evidence-based, trauma-focused care, training and culture.

Spiritually integrated | Evidence-based | Trauma focused

Why This Matters

Many churches are filled with faithful people who are silently struggling—burnt-out leaders, overwhelmed volunteers, and members carrying trauma, shame, or hidden grief. And that doesn’t even begin to cover what newcomers are carrying. The burden of grief and trauma is heavy, and no one is exempt.

Traditional discipleship and surface-level encouragement aren’t always enough. Trauma shows up in the body, in relationships, and in communities long after the event has passed.

And when someone opens up about something hard—a history of abuse, suicidal thoughts, or deep emotional pain—many leaders feel under-equipped to respond.
What do you say when someone might try to harm themself? What do you do when a person discloses that they’ve been harmed?
How do you protect the person, yourself, and the integrity of your ministry?

Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) offers a new way forward—helping faith communities become places of safety, healing, and revival.

What is Trauma-Informed Care?

Trauma isn’t just what happened. It’s the invisible wounds and survival patterns people carry, often hidden in plain sight.

Trauma-Informed Care shifts the question from:

“What’s wrong with you?” → to → “What happened to you?” → to → “What’s possible now?”

This framework equips churches, ministries, and leaders to:
✅ Recognize signs of trauma
✅ Understand its impact on the brain, body, and spirit
✅ Respond with compassion, dignity, and safety
✅ Navigate disclosures and crises ethically and confidently
✅ Create environments that restore trust and foster healing
✅ Ignite Holy Spirit-centered healing and revival that impacts the world
